The second dialog type is used to select a node (or event). This type appears when you choose the following commands:
窶｢ Get alias窶ｦ
窶｢ Go to node窶ｦ
窶｢ Get node窶ｦ
For this dialog type, the static text item in the upper left-hand part of the dialog box displays the text 窶彜elect a node窶.
In the 窶廛irectory窶 list box, all the objects can be selected. However, if you select a folder, and click the 窶廾K窶 button, the directory corresponding to the selected folder in the 窶廛irectory窶 list box, becomes the current directory in the dialog box.
By using the navigation methods explained above, i.e., double-clicking folders in the 窶廛irectory窶 list box, and using 窶廛irectory窶 and the 窶弩indows窶 popup menus, you can find your way to the directory where the wanted object is located.
When you have found the right directory, you finish the dialog by selecting the wanted object in the 窶廛irectory窶 list box, and clicking the 窶廾K窶 button. Note that if you do not select anything in the 窶廛irectory窶 list box, the 窶廾K窶 button is disabled.
